Ayble Health Selected as Finalist in the 5th Annual Digital Health Awards

Company recognized as a Rising Star in the Consumer Wellness category for its app-based digestive health program

BOSTON, Sept. 26, 2023Ayble Health, a digital health platform for patients with chronic gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, today announced its selection as a finalist for the Digital Health Awards, presented by the Digital Health Hub Foundation, held at the global leading healthcare conference, HLTH. Ayble was chosen as a finalist for the Rising Stars track in the Consumer Wellness category.

The awards, celebrated annually, recognize companies for their excellence in utilizing digital advancements to improve healthcare services and patient outcomes as voted by experts across academia, healthcare, the investment community, and industry analysts. The Consumer Wellness category specifically honors digital health products, services, and experiences designed to prioritize the overall well-being of consumers, empower them to take control of their health and prevent health problems from occurring and/or worsening. As a finalist, Ayble has earned its reputation as a leader in digestive health through its research-backed nutrition program that improves outcomes for individuals with GI conditions such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and more.

"This year's competition has been like nothing we have ever seen before. We have had a remarkable influx of submissions totaling in the thousands from companies worldwide. We are very excited for our award show in just a few weeks where we will have the opportunity to convene in person and celebrate those who are transforming the future of health!" stated Mark H. Goldstein, Chairman of the Digital Health Hub Foundation.

Available as app-based virtual care, Ayble guides members through through four phases of its

personalized nutrition program: Identification, Elimination, Reintroduction and Application. This clinically rigorous approach takes into account expansive patient biographical, diet, allergy, lifestyle and symptom information, then marries it with the world’s largest GI behavioral health data set to personalize treatment plans. With assistance from a full-featured gut health tracker and dedicated health coach, Ayble members are empowered to identify root causes of flares and GI discomfort. Ayble is proven to deliver 50% better outcomes and be two times more effective than working one-on-one with a dietitian.

Members can also use the Ayble app to discover compatible foods among more than 200,000 grocery products from over 100 retail brands in 40,000+ stores nationwide including: Albertsons, Kroger, Instacart, Target, Walmart and Whole Foods. Users simply scan a barcode in stores to understand if a food is compatible with their custom Ayble diet and other dietary preferences like whether a food is fair trade, halal, kosher, organic or vegan.

"We are deeply honored to be recognized among such distinguished peers in the digital health community," said Sam Jactel, founder and CEO, Ayble. "This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. At Ayble, our primary goal has always been to deliver the most effective, evidence-based virtual platform that improves the lives of people living with chronic GI conditions"

Ayble is the first and only gastroenterology company accredited by the American Nutrition Association and the VI. In its Outcomes Report, the VI highlighted that Ayble’s precision nutrition program is two times more effective than in-person or virtual dietetics and drives 30-40% better adherence to recommendations. The Institute has also recognized Ayble as the first company to be FoodMed certified.

Following a rigorous application and judging process, only eight companies were selected per category as a Digital Health Awards finalist out of over 1,500 applicants. The winners will be announced at the Grand Finale taking place at HLTH on the Moon Stage on October 9, 2023.
